NORFOLK APARTMENT
Tucked along Sea Point’s Norfolk Road, this serene corner apartment was thoughtfully reimagined by House of Apax as a calm urban sanctuary. With a light-filled, open-plan layout as its canvas, the design process embraced a muted colour palette and nuanced texture layering to achieve quiet sophistication. Every surface and material was carefully considered to invite natural warmth while maintaining a refined, minimal aesthetic.
A solid wooden dining table paired with a handwoven bench becomes a grounding centrepiece in the main living space—an ode to artisanal craftsmanship. Opposite, a bespoke metal and glass backlit display unit creates a visual focal point that blends function with sculptural elegance. From a plush, custom sectional sofa to the seamless herringbone oak flooring underfoot, every detail contributes to a cohesive narrative of organic comfort and curated luxury. Scope of work included an interior refresh, custom furniture design, joinery and lighting updates, furniture procurement, and final art and décor styling.

"A LAYERED YET REFINED APARTMENT THAT BALANCES DESIGN DISCIPLINE WITH COMFORTABLE LIVING."
