OLD CAPE QUARTER
This Airbnb project by House of Apax reimagines the spirit of De Waterkant through bold colour, texture, and globally inspired design. A neighbourhood known for its rich history and cultural fusion, De Waterkant provided the perfect backdrop for a space that feels as vibrant and multifaceted as Cape Town itself. Drawing from the essence of the Mother City and the Cape of Good Hope, the design tells a story of place, people, and personality.
Artisanal furniture, layered textiles, and playful wallpaper patterns are just some of the elements that bring this apartment to life. Every detail was curated to balance comfort with curiosity, modern elegance with a lived-in charm. It’s a celebration of multicultural style—where eclectic finishes meet contemporary sensibility—offering guests more than just a stay. It’s a boutique experience rooted in the city’s heartbeat: bright, bold, and unapologetically local.
