HOUSE RONDEBOSCH
The interior of this Rondebosch home, designed by House of Apax, strikes a delicate balance between preserving its 1960s heritage and introducing thoughtful modern touches.
The home’s front half is defined by a symmetrical layout of bedrooms and bathrooms. A straight passage from the front door, framed by classic archways, leads visitors to an open-plan living and entertainment area that opens out onto a generous backyard. The interior, all on one level, is designed to feel open and secure — a welcoming and sheltered space perfect for everyday living and effortless entertaining. With subtle interior structural alterations, the design honours the visual language of the original and previously extended parts of the home. The living spaces allows for flexibility through the use of layered rugs, patterns, and textures that can easily evolve with current trends.

"PERFECT FOR EVERYDAY LIVING AND EFFORTLESS ENTERTAINING."
